However, when Ben Platt was offered the role in the series The Politician, he knew that he had to look sharp, confident, and ambitious, which was the plot of the main character that he was playing.

Ben Platt started working out five to six days a week to improve his posture and body shape to get into the character, isn’t it professional of him? So he took help from Johnson, who trained him with a few exercises that focused on building a better posture for Ben Platt; they used to work out for 60 to 75 minutes each day.

Training five days a week.

Cardio

 We will add a cardio workout to get a slim body just like Ben Platt; again, this routine is not what Ben follows; I make this routine for you to achieve a body like Ben Platt.

In the cardio routine, you will be performing 30 minutes of cardio exercise, so we are going to add a water rower, which again will be great for your posture, some treadmill and cycling as well.

  • 10 minutes of Air bike
  • 10 minutes of Water rower
  • 10 minutes of Treadmill

 

Farmer walk

After your cardio session, you will perform a farmer walk session; it’s quite easy, and you can do this exercise every day it will strengthen your grip, build your stamina, power, and fix your upper back posture.

So pick a maximum weight that you feel comfortable walking around with and do as many laps as possible. Each day tries to break your record that will help you know how much you have gotten better.

 

Weight lifting

In weight lifting, we will focus on an exercise like bench press, push-ups, pull-ups, lat pulldown, back lat pushdowns, deadlift, etc. So basically, your upper body and you can also add legs day and routine if you want. Just don’t go very heavy or hard while working out with weights.
