However, the fans also love the way Hilary Duff has kept herself so fit and strong for all these years. Even after the birth of her child, Hilary got back in that incredible shape again. So how is she able to do that? Well, if you also want to know more about her workout and routine, keep reading.

Hilary Duff always used to work out, and before she went in her 30’s, Hilary Duff used to love going to Pilates workouts. That was her favorite and go-to workout for Pilates, cardio, etc. After that, however, Hilary Duff avoided going to the gym and lifting weights, as she didn’t want to get bulk. However, according to this article from Women’s Health Magazine, Hilary Duff now loves going to the gym.

Hilary Duff told Women’s Health Magazine that after the ’30s, she tried weight training and realized that she never felt so lean and robust about herself. So now that’s the only thing that Hilary Duff focuses on; she doesn’t do much Pilates anymore, even stopped doing a lot of cardio. So instead, Hilary focuses only on doing Weight Training and working out for an hour to an hour and a half every day for five-six days a week.

Sadly Hilary Duff didn’t mention the types of exercises that she does. There were only a few mentions of squats, lunges, etc. However, nothing about what her gym schedule will look like, but don’t worry, as I will give you a good workout routine that you can do. We will be doing five days of weight training and then finishing some circuit core workouts. Also, add some cardio before the workout for warm-up. However, the main focus will be on our lower body and core.

Weight Training

In weight training, we will train our body five days a week, but in that routine, we will focus more on our lower body than the upper body. Also, before you start the weight training, make sure to get a 10 minutes cardio warm-up and do a few minutes of stretching to avoid getting injured while lifting weights.

After every weight training session, we will do a core workout routine to get that slim and toned ab. The workout will follow a circuit that you repeat three times without rest. So let’s get started:

Reps: 30 seconds

Rest time after the whole circuit: one minute

  • Crunches
  • Bicycle crunches
  • Leg raises
  • V-ups
  • Plank twister
  • Plank hold
