Jun Ji-Hyun is one of the most well-known actresses in the Korean Industry, starring in movies and shows like Legend of The Blue Sea, My Love From The Star, Kingdom, My Sassy Girl, The Thieves, and many more. She has always seemed super beautiful throughout her career, and we have always seen Jun Ji-Hyun in a fit, lean, and toned body shape. AllKpop covered an interview of Jun Ji-Hyun by W Korea Magazine, where Jun Ji-Hyun talked about the secrets of being so fit. The reason that Jun Ji-Hyun stays in such good shape is that she exercises like it’s breathing. Her love for exercising is not just temporary, it’s very constant, and she loves to exercise every day. Jun Ji-Hyun mentioned that she wakes up 6-7 am to exercise daily, which is not even part of her workout.
Then she starts her real workout, for which Jun Ji-Hyun goes to Pilates classes three days a week, and before the Pilates classes, Ji-Hyun will do an hour of cardio workout. So Jun Ji-Hyun does work out every day, but she goes to the extreme on three days of the week, adding Pilates and cardio.
Jun Ji-Hyun even told W Korea that even if she is busy with shoots, she will still take out time for her workout. Even her co-star Lee Min-Ho stated that Jun Ji-Hyun workout on her off days as well. So get ready to work out every day as it’s going to get hard:

Now we don’t know what kind of routines Jun Ji-Hyun does, so I think we need to work more on core and light bodyweight workouts to get a body like Jun Ji-Hyun. So I will add a routine that you can try; it will contain three circuits. Each circuit will have five exercises, and you will be doing three sets of each circuit.
Reps: 45 seconds
Rest time after the whole circuit: 1-2 minutes
Circuit 1 (upper body)
- Pike push-ups
- Triceps dips
- Mountain climbers
Circuit 2 (core)
- Leg raises
- Plank twister
- Side plank with hip dips
- Plank hold
Circuit 3 (lower body)
- Squat pulse
- Donkey kickbacks to a fire hydrant
- Glute bridge
Pilates and Cardio
Training days: Three days a week
Now coming towards your cardio and Pilates workout, you can do an hour of cardio workout before Pilates classes, as Jun Ji-Hyun mentioned. In that, try doing classes like aerobics, Zumba dance, group classes, Spinning, etc. In addition, I would recommend going for a spin class for an hour.
Then we start with a Pilates workout; Pilates is the most adapted workout by Korean idols and actresses. It helps you with flexibility, keeps your muscle lean and toned while giving you a slim waistline and well-shaped butt. I’m not a Pilates expert; I won’t tell you about it; it’s better if you go and join a Pilates class.
That’s all for the Jun Ji-Hyun workout routine.
