The singer revealed that she followed a book titled ‘ The Plant Paradox ‘ by Dr. Steven Gundry. The Grammy winner was inspired by this book and followed the tips suggested through this book which helped her in navigating her way to good health. The basic idea of this book revolves around restricting Gluten and other Lectins, which have a tendency to promote weight gain.
Lectins are carbohydrate-binding proteins, commonly found in beans, legumes, and especially wheat. Eggplant, Tomatoes, Potatoes, Peanut, and lentils are other sources of lectins.
