Lily Collins had stayed fit since she started working out; however, when Lily began her career and started working, workout for her was just something that she did. In a recent interview with Byrdie, Lily talked about how that has changed. She started enjoying her activities as it’s a part of her life, making her happy.

Lily had gone through a lot, especially when she moved to LA; there were lots of family issues and other things that made Lily go through depression and eating disorders. Although now it’s all different and Lily has changed herself for good, and she is doing well. Lily talked about how she loves going to the gym and enjoys workout like a group cardio class and dance classes where she can sweat a lot with her friends.

Lily also told Byrdie that she loves to challenge and try new things that her body didn’t know how to do. Like loves exploring new muscles by doing new workouts that Lily never knew. In the other article, which is from Women’s Health, Lily had talked about how she also loves swimming a lot. Lily also stated that the interview that she is doing isometric and ballet moves to stay fit.

Lily also stated that before, she used to get super guilty if somehow Lily missed any workout. However, now Lily gives herself rest if she had to as Lily now has more of a positive attitude where Lily thinks that the elliptical machines will always be there, but her life won’t be. Lily Collins workout includes:-

Cardio

The cardio routine for us will be group exercises, and cardio classes practice also makes a lot of swimming, ballet moves, dance classes, and cardio classes; we will also add a few of them in our routine. You will train for the cardio routine at least five days a week, doing different things to help you get fit.

  • Monday: 30 minutes swimming
  • Tuesday: 40 to 50 minutes of barre classes
  • Thursday: An hour of yoga
  • Friday: Zumba or dance class
  • Saturday: Running, hiking or trekking

 

Isometric Training

Training days: Monday to Friday

Isometric training is a way where you will work your body part with static contraction of muscles. It’s not so different from the workout most people do in the gym; the best thing about Isometric movements is that you can do them at your home as many exercises can get done with just your bodyweight. Exercises like; plank, toe touch, reverse planks, wall sit, glute bridge, side plank pose, mountain climber, lunges, squats, pull-ups, push-ups, good mornings, etc.

However, there are many weight exercises there as well in Isometric training. Activities like; isolation bicep curls, concentration curls, deadlifts, hip thruster, tricep extension, bent over rows, etc. So feel free to explore all of these exercises and do what suits you the best.

Lily now seems to take it easy and tells herself it’s okay to have one or two cocktails once in a while. Lily also enjoys baking a lot.
