Running

In an interview, Glen revealed that his favorite way to explore the city he is visiting is by going on a Run throughout the city without a map. In short, his idea of enjoying his holiday destinations is by getting lost in them, and what better way of getting lost than by Running through them without direction? Also, Running is an integral part of Glen Powell workout routine, through a treadmill run or simple outdoor running. 

Running is one of those exercises that burn the most amount of calories and has tremendous health benefits, including building lean muscles and helping you with managing stress. Weight Training 

Intense weight training is the core behind building a body like Glen Powell. Training for Top Gun: Maverick 

His training for Top Gun: Maverick, required him to restrict himself to 2800 calories per day, which should be protein-dominant. His protein intake was somewhere around 200 grams per day, and carbs and fats intake was flexible. He took 3-4 meals a day, and his plate included lots of lean chicken, lean beef, chicken breast, wild fish like cod and halibut, tuna fish, and shrimp. 

For high-quality fats, Glen relied on Olive Oil, Avocadoes, Nuts, Organic Butter, and  Coconut Oil. Glen doesn’t consume dairy, so no milk or cheese made it to his plate. The main sources of carbs were vegetables and grains. This includes broccoli, spinach, basmati rice, oats, and sweet potato. Avocado, egg, and spinach toast is Glen’s favorite breakfast.

Bananas, Smoked Salmon, Sirloin Steak, and Green Beans are also present in his diet routine. 

 

Supplements

Glen took supplements for Estrogen support, and to reduce inflammation. His protein intake was about 20 grams of Glutamine and Creatine mix which was consumed as a post-workout meal.
