After searching for a while about Kim Nam-Gil’s workout routine, I could not find much information. Few articles did say Kim Nam-Gil workout in the gym to maintain his body physique and keep himself lean. However, since there was no trusted source, I will not be giving the link to those workouts. Still, it’s unfortunate that there was no interview about Kim Nam-Gil telling about his workout. I was only able to find his military training drills and interviews.

Like any other Korean citizen, Kim Nam-Gil was also sent to join the military and serve there for two years. That’s something every Korean citizen has to do, and BTS is the only group to break out of that system. However, I think that Kim Nam-Gil does regular gym workouts to maintain his body shape like many other Korean actors who have to follow the gym routine. It’s one of the necessary things.

So to get a body like Kim Nam-Gil, I would indeed suggest at least five days of weight training and a few minutes of cardio workout every day. It will help you stay lean and get toned. Also, we need to make sure that we don’t do heavy weight training, as you don’t want to get super muscular if you aim to stay in shape like Kim Nam-Gil. So now, let’s get started:

Cardio

We will start with 20-30 minutes of cardio workout. I would prefer 20-30 minutes of running on the treadmill at moderate speed in the cardio workout. However, if the duration is a lot for you, you can also run for as much duration as possible and cover the rest of the duration by walking. Once you get done with the cardio workout, ensure to do 10 minutes of stretching to avoid getting injured later on while doing weight training. 

 

Weight Training

Now in weight training, we will do a five days workout routine. You will be training a different muscle area every day to get even bulk. Now, remember to keep the weights at a moderate weight at best, as we don’t want to gain muscle mass. It’s about getting toned and in shape so we will be focusing on high reps sets with lightweight to moderate weight training. The moments should be controlled and proper, and the form should be correct.
