He also got recognized more when his physical appearance changed after Lee Seung-gi joined the military and got through intense military training. When he was back in the industry, Lee Seung-gi surprised a lot, including the fans and many artists in the industry. The love for working out was so intense that in the 2019 movie Vagabond Lee Seung-gi ended up doing all of his stunts.

Yep, he is not only a star but also an action star, and hopefully, he will keep up with his fitness. So now, many fans want to know how Lee Seung-gi works out and his routine for movies? After going through some of the articles and later hopping on to Lee Seung-gi’s Instagram account, I found two posts in one; you can see Lee Seung-gi in the gym. In another post, Lee Seung-gi can be seen with other people in a martial art gym or a dojo.

So yeah, working out is still part of Lee Seung-gi’s workout. Lee Seung-gi may look lean and not so fit, but he does work out and might be super strong behind that lean physique. So how do you approach a body like that? Also, how can we incorporate these workouts into our daily routine to get a body like Lee Seung-gi? After these workouts, we will be doing four days of mixed weight training and core routine. However, before starting this weight training routine, make sure you get a good cardio warm-up and get some stretches in as well.

Core Routine

After weight training, we will do a quick 15-20 minutes core routine.

Circuits: 3

Exercises in each circuit: 7

Reps: 30 seconds

Rest time after the whole circuit: one minute

  • Incline Crunches
  • Leg raises
  • Side to side leg raises
  • Russian twist
  • Plank twister
  • Plank hold
  • Side plank to a crunch

 

MMA

Now, mixed martial arts is something that Lee Seung-gi trains, but only for his specific roles. So I won’t push it too much on you and say you can do like two days to three days of Mixed Martial arts training for about an hour a week. It will help you get used to the footwork, get better reflexes, and give you a balanced body physique.

I couldn’t find much about his diet, and I don’t think there is a very rigorous diet plan that Lee Seung-gi follows. I would say balancing his junk foods and eating home-cooked and healthy food is enough. Once in a while, he goes out and eats, so you can surely do that as well, but yeah, it’s not that strict.
