Rich was always interested in athletics and main reason for that was his father is a wrestler and active in many sports. Also, Froning used to receive a scholarship for playing various games and he once received scholarship for playing basketball which is his favorite sport in teenage.
Rich Froning jr took an interest in CrossFit in 2010 and started competitory and training the game. He’s one of the proudest moments was when he won the “ The fittest man title “ in cross-fit games. A documentary of Rich Froning has also been made for that.

Rich Froning Jr Workout Routine
Rich Froning jr workout routine is different from other stars of CrossFit games. While some athletes take the ‘less is more’ approach, Froning works out multiple times each day, a minimum of three however up to five.
According to Rich, he doesn’t feel the energy in the body if he did not hit the gym at least 3 times per day. Also, he did not take even a day off from the gym unlike other participants of cross fit games.
Froning works out for concerning half-hour at a time, however, they’re terribly intense.
Starting Exercises
After warming up, Froning takes some resistance bands and plates and spends a half-hour doing quality exercises as well as things like banded single-leg swings, single-leg deadlifts.

- 10 arm standing presses repeatedly

- 50 D-ball throws- Dead hang

- Interval of 45 min
- A Swimming exercise (2x per week)
- Warm-up: 10x50m
- Workout 4x250m
- Post-workout: two rounds
- 100 kicks
- 6x25m swim. No breaks.
A CrossFit Afternoon exercise
- 5 rounds
- 30 GHB (glute-ham developer)
- 50 double unders
- 100-foot gymnastic exercise walk
A free Exercise
- Jogging of 30 miles
An Evening exercise
- 8×4 Snatch (225 lbs.) each two min.
- 7×5 Power Clean (275 lbs.) each 1:45
