Tanner is quite a fit person and always was into staying fit, healthy, and working out. Especially when he starred in the Martial arts show Cobra Kai, his fitness got way too improved. Now, Tanner can even do martial arts, maybe not as good as the UFC fighters, but he can do quite a good amount.
There is no surprise that people would like to get his body physique. He’s super lean and well built from everywhere, so how does Tanner maintain his body fitness? Well, to find that, I looked up some things, and surprisingly it was not that hard to find. I mean, yeah, I couldn’t find the whole routine, but I did find some of his workouts that Tanner shared.

Toning Workout + Cobra Kai Workout
In an interview with Men’s Health at the start of this year, Tanner told Men’s Health some exercises to get the Cobra Kai physique. All of the exercises contain weight training to develop your body strength. He does five sets of exercises in a set of 4. The exercises that Tanner showed in his workout are:
- Kettlebell upright rows to the dumbbell punches, 4×10
- Dumbbell thruster to med ball slams, 4×10
- Kettlebell squats to round kick, 4×10 (10 for each side in the round kicks)
- Dumbbell bench press to plate press and raise, 4×10
- Barbell jumping jacks, 4×30 seconds.
So as we saw how he does an overall body workout instead of standard workouts that help you more with the build. Tanner is about overall fitness; he also does cardio workouts, for which he usually does a run and stuff. Also, Tanner likes to train in a type of dojo where he learns different kinds of stuff like round kick, tornado kick, etc.; as he has shown in this video, he pulled a 540.
How to make this into a daily routine?
You can start by doing five days a week of training to divide workouts into two training patterns. So in the morning, work on your cardio and martial arts moves or training. I would recommend joining a martial arts gym.
In the evening, indulge yourself with workouts like weight training, which will be more functional in the case. You can ask your gym trainer to tell you more about functional training that will suit you the best.
Start with the basic exercises. Also, work on your core as much as you can. I would recommend incorporating these exercises into your routine. Exercises like Bulgarian squats, kettlebell squat press-ups, drop squats, step-up lunges, snatch, kettlebell swings, deadlifts, etc.

Tanner Buchanan Diet Plan
It’s so bad that Tanner didn’t share his complete diet in that interview, so I can’t tell you what he likes to eat. However, I know that he is not a vegan for now and consumes a good amount of protein from lean meat and veggies.
